CRISPY TONGUE WITH BALSAMIC VINEGAR

For an easy and surprising aperitif that combines all the flavours of Modenese tradition!

INGREDIENTS
Boiled beef tongue
Three tablespoons of rice flour
One tablespoon of cornstarch
Half a glass of beer
Breadcrumbs as needed
A drizzle of Balsamic Vinegar Vicolo dei Tornei 20 (buy it here)
PREPARATION TIME
5 minutes
COOKING TIME
12 minutes
Place rice flour and corn starch in a bowl [1], add the beer and mix well until the mixture is smooth and lump-free. [2-3]
Prepare a plate of breadcrumbs.

Now take the sliced tongue and dip it completely into the batter [4] then coat it with breadcrumbs on each side [5]. Transfer your tongue slices to the air fryer [6] and cook for 12 minutes at 200 degrees, turn the slices halfway through cooking. [7].

Enjoy them while they are still warm! [8] Garnish the slices with a drizzle of Vicolo dei Tornei 20 balsamic vinegar [9].
